Wake up Call
I had an argument with a very wise woman almost a year ago and she told me something that struck me and made me think about myself. "Maybe you try too hard to please everyone and not think about what makes you happy."; that was her message. I thought about it for a very long time, only to find out I'm thinking about it up to now. Damn she's right. I'm forgetting myself again. I always thought being selfless is a very good trait, but I never really knew how much damage it would do to your own life. Let this serve as a warning to myslef. Starting today, I will change...

You know what? It's not so bad to think of yourself first before others sometimes. Kasi diba if you want to have some changes or improvement sa paligid mo, you have to start sa sarili mo. You have to check first kung posibleng sa isang tao muna, then kapag successful ka na, eh di pwede mo ring gawin sa iba. And you have to set an example sa ibang people, kaya dapat isipin mo muna ang sarili.
Fine, sasabihin ng iba ang selfish...
Ganito nalang, tell them na hindi sa gusto mong maging selfish, it's just that kailangan maging maayos ka muna para maging maayos rin yung pakikitungo mo sa iba. Ah, basta!
Eto pa, gawin mo yung mga bagay na ok sa'yo...kung saan ka masaya. Para galing talaga and bukal sa heart mo lahat ng gagawin mo. ara rin hindi dumating yung point na pinagsisisihan mo yung mga ginawa mo.
Ayun, stay happy, Jace! You're one of the few people I know who really knows what he wants. And I admire you for that.
